As reported on the Sky Sports Transfer Centre: scunthorpe face a battle to keep hold of highly rated winger Hakeeb Adelakun who is attracting interest from a host of clubs. Adelakun is out of contract at the end of the season and scunthorpe have offered the 21-year-old a new deal to fend off interest from Championship clubs Sunderland, Hull and Barnsley. Crystal Palace are also thought to be monitoring Adelakun’s contract situation as he can leave for compensation at the end of the season if he doesn’t sign a new deal. I hope this comes off, cover for the winger positions.
