Good to see Kelly getting some well deserved praise

Let's not forget his goal against Tottenham in the cup either!

Solid pro, not his fault that Pardew played him at left back.

He appears fitter and leaner in recent weeks too - arguably half a yard quicker as a result.

Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune)

Agreed, i'm not a big fan of his but he does deserve credit for his last 2 displays!Keep it up Martin!

Bit of reality needed on this thread. He’s currently in the best form of his palace career and if he can keep it up he’s a decent squad player. No more or less than that.

Vive le Roy!

Lets not forget Ward was excellent before he got injured. It will be a nice problem for Roy to have when some return from injury. Lets hope that is sooner rather than later.
Kelly has been a solid squad player for a number of years. When he transferred from Liverpool I thought he had the look of a centre half playing out of position. But what a bonus to have someone who can come in and do a solid job in a number of positions. I was also very impressed with Reidewald the other day against City. Sako has looked a threat every time he has come on. Perhaps our squad is stronger than most would have us believe.

Looks to me like Hodgson has improved quite a few players.

Hennesey
Speroni
Ward
Kelly
van Aanholt
Riedewald
Fosu-Mensah (OK he's United really but still)
Bakary Sako
Zaha

Some of those were useless against Bristol City (notably van Aanholt) but look how they played in these last two matches despite being cream crackered.

Work still to be done:

Schlupp
Townsend
Benteke

What's the opposite of "to pardew"?

Not Pardew's fault either.
