John Fashanu and Dennis Wise.

We were linked with them so often c 1990 -94, I can't believe we haven't pushed these deals through yet.

Similarly, Jordan Rhodes and Connor Whickham a few years back.

Oh hang on..

better hurry up or will be in the same situation as at the end of the last transfer window! Everton have already got the striker we wanted for 7.5m. Get rid of our one striker (or who purports to be) and we could have got three for the price of one.
With the injuries we've sustained, we should already have someone lined up for Burnley.
By the way, lousy penalty, bit like Southgate's! Remember he had Pizza on his face forever more. Always a positive outcome, he became England Manager!
Mind you it was a point we didn't deserve.
26% Palace, 74% Man.C.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm dreaming of Loftus Road, The New Den, and the Old Cottage by this time next year!
Thanks Wilf, for without you we would have already been down. If they let you go for anything under 50mil, I will be speechless. What do I hear you say?!!!

You were at a different game to me. Possession means nothing. We had the better chances, deserved a draw and nearly won.

Sadly nearly is not good enough and will not keep us up, we never seem to have any planning with our transfers its all last minute panic buying, I expect SP has gone on his holiday and forgot to take his phone!

Do people really expect us to buy anyone decent early in the transfer window. Please look at the recent history Palace have in the window. Its all last minute or desperation signings or attempted signings that for one reason or another dont go through.

We must have our targets and these should be done as early as poss in the window but they wont be. Mean while we lose more points and or time settling in new pkayers..

Not being negative just realistic.

Been a while since we’ve deployed this approach and I think it has caused us problems with the squad being wafer thin, because we’ve been out and signed one big money player at a time.

I agree. I am not having we met spend millions all the time.

Dann and Jimmy Mac have been a bedrock, as have one or two others. The scouts should earn their crust.

At last someone indicating a sound logic!
The thing to be learned from history is that people do not learn from it.

That's why posters have to rant on about Parish's form in them over the last 5 years.
