No idea why we'd be forced to sell Townsend for just £15m? He's a vital part of our play and can't see us selling him unless we're offered close to double that.

If anyone offered £30m plus I think we'd have to think about it. Yes he's good on his day and yes he's getting better. But £30m could go a long way to revamping our foward line if the right players where identified.

Tomkins? I doubt we'd sell him, I also doubt we'd get a £20m offer for him. But even in today's market £20m is good money for a CB.

We'd still have a injury prone Sakho and Dann so would need to buy good to replace. Wonder how good the lad in the development squad is also.

Maybe Tomkins for £20m would have legs if an offer that high came in.

Zaha is 6 months in to a 5 year deal. He's the sole reason we're still up and therefor bags the club £100m plus a season. He won't be sold this window or in the summer. Potentially the following summer when he'd be on 3 years to run. But it's pipe dreams of any club to think they can buy one of the best players outside the top six for £50m when he has such a long contract. Won't be sold.

So Tomkins and Benteke if sky high prices come in and PVA for £10m to city.

£60m war chest could be spent fairly well at replacing those three IMO.

Townsend is one that I would look to let go. Works hard enough and can deliver a decent ball into the box but is replaceable as he doesn't offer anything amazing. If someone comes in with a silly offer for him, we should take it.

I imagine Souare will go on loan to aid his recovery, which means selling PvA is off the cards. If Souare does stay, we might as well get rid of PvA though, it's the only position we have fully sufficient cover in, bar maybe centre mid.
