Which is why cryptocurrencies need to be regulated there is very little protection from fraud or just simply losing your key, not for me until then.

Of course if Tux were here he would vigorously defend it saying why invest in a currency like the dollar that is controlled by shadowy people and corporations. No it would be far better to buy cryptocurrencies which are controlled by shadowing people...

Still, I miss him bringing everything back to cryptocurrency. I bet he's reading - hi bud.

Has anyone heard of PiNetwork? I've downloaded the app but the t seems that unless you have thousands of friends using the app with your invite code, so your mining speed goes up, it will end up being very non profitable.

Is it just a scammy app or could it be worthwhile to keep running on my phone?

I don’t know this app specifically but my view is anything this late to market is not going to make you any money. Bitcoin mining is now largely in the hands of big business.

No coin yet, looks like they're trying to get some kind of user mass by their offer.

Bitcoin has done very well recently as opposed to all the other currencies which have bombed.

To me this makes sense, I see the possibilities for an online currency, even if we are not quite there yet, however we can only really have one currency to do that role.

It makes perfect sense especially for businesses that deal in multiple currencies but it has to be regulated and easily convertible. Facebook attempted this by building an alliance with credit card companies and big corporates but were scared off by the Fed.

It will happen one day but only with the approval of the regulatory bodies.

This.

And not only regulated, but owned by the same gatekeepers that exist now.

Got sent an invite for the app from a work colleague and there's no investment or online wallet needed so I'll give it a go. What other easy cryptocurrency apps are out there other then bitcoin that are worth starting?
