He's had a wonderful first half of the season

But was pretty average the past 3-4 seasons in Ligue 2.
So.....I wouldn't judge a player only on the last 3 months

He’s only playing at Ligue 1 level I know he’ll probably be cheap but if you’re going to spend money on an unproven forward why not give ladapo another run out surely can’t be any worse

'Ligue 1' is the top league in France with PSG and Monaco etc.
Angers are second from bottom, so to score 9 goals this far this season in a struggling side is a healthy return.

Another player who came to England from Angers is Jonathan Kodjia and he has done well for both Bristol C and A.Villa. In his first season in England he scored 20 goals, last season he scored 22.He has suffered an injury this season.

One of the unexpected consequences of Having only one recognised striker in Benteke is that both Zaha and Sakho have stepped up to the plate, and Wickham has returned to training. Having said that, I would have thought someone like Ekambi would be an excellent option.

Has continued to do well in the second half of the French season too. Maybe this shows that he's ready for a bigger club (of better league). Though his price will be a little high this summer. Maybe wait one more year, see how he does?
But I think someone will buy him this summer, so a decision would have to be made. What do you say- risk or no risk?
A 20 million risk that is
