Enjoy just back from the game and player rating. Always paints an interesting picture of someone's journey and opinion. My journey was 10 minutes drive from my Mums at 11.30pm. I'd give MacArthur a ten for this game. Didn't put a foot wrong. I'd give this team performance a 8.5. I'd agree - he was my man of the match.

I saw the game on Sky and thought Macca was brilliant, must of ran Wilf very close to motm Roy has a real selection headache for Saturday. Does Luka come back or does Macca continue?

"No Tekers" is the answer to that one. I'm guessing Ward is also still not available so Speroni And Bakary Sako coming on later for his goal as usual

Of course, he does have form (or lack of it) after scoring in consecutive games

Luke was suspended for this game but presumably would have started otherwise. Perhaps without him we were able to play a more expansive system and should consider keeping the same starting eleven for Swansea? What about Matthew, Mark and John? Teasing apart; my mate, season ticket holder at LCFC, was convinced on Saturday morning that his side wouldn’t win. He messaged me to say he expected Roy would have a plan “to frustrate us”. I pointed out that he was mad, but he wouldn’t have it. And that’s ‘Gospel’! Edited by YT (18 Dec 2017 7.02pm)

Garth Crooks' team of the week: Sterling, De Bruyne, Smalling, Benteke, Coutinho This makes great reading. The Palace bits anyway!
