The Tekkers situation got me thinking. Andros hasn't scored this season either. So that's half our star, 'quality' front 4 that haven't achieved their primary responsibility yet. Not surprising we're sitting at the foot of the table.

Ideas as to why? Any positive suggestions that youn think might change it?

it may seem an obvious "solution", but I thought Townsend last Saturday had a really poor game as he did at West Brom. There is lots of labour and work ethic but a lot falls in the "headless chicken" category. Lots of people on here seem to rate him, but he poses nothing like the treat Wilf does on the other side.

Generally I think we're too rigid, there's not enough link up play centrally, Zaha doesn't know how to play where he is and in our situation we need players to know how to perform where they're selected, Cheek also. Plus Townsend is anonymous mostly because of the rigidity. When do we overlap before 80 mins have gone? Very static a lot of the time when back 4 have the ball and little support or position experience when midfield have it. We'd be alright with it if it wasn't for the cluster fvck before Roy but we need wins asap.
