Very true, but sadly we cannot keep dropping points at home to teams that are in the relegation fight with us, these matches are a must win in our position with Man City and the Gunners coming up we have no room for anymore errors! Yep, we need to be out of it before we get dragged back again which is likely, unless Arsenal prepare badly, which I doubt after last season. They'll probably arrive really early rather than late.

I had a friend with me yesterday who commented how much arguing there was between the players on the pitch - our own players that is. In a tough, tense, frustrating game, not worried that there was a bit of arguing. As for passion, I saw plenty of that, both in thus game and previous ones. As for learning from previous mistakes, the only reason we didn't win this game (apart from benteke) was not being able to put the ball in the net. We need players like townsend, RLC, Cabaye to chip in with a few goals. Why we haven't reverted to wilf and andros wide and RLC as a no.10 amazes me.

This, and unfortunately, these will be a season-defining 6 points dropped. In fact, had we picked up those points, we'd be sitting 14th, just under Brighton. I suppose you could argue that you always get these games, but it's still incredibly frustrating. In terms of the arguing, a part of me think that that's actually a good thing. I'd rather them be arguing about who's doing what, than just being apathetic. I guess it depends on how/what they were arguing over. I think it was a terrible decision by him, and I can understand the backlash, but now the dust has settled, I think we just need to move on and focus on 5 tough games before Christmas. A part of me believes/hopes that Benteke took it, because he wanted to save the day. Quite arrogant and selfish, but I'm hoping he was thinking he'd be the hero, rather than appeasing his goal drought. It was obviously incredibly desperate, and I've seen desperate people do crazy things.

Two points lost through Benteke's ego and Speroni's poor keeping (again). Sickening. And Bournemouth's cynicism - a training ground corner Eddie Howe is a disgrace despite coming across as a goody boy.
