I don't think they will be very keen on large groups of Palace fans turning up. Lewes is a fairly sedate middle-class market town, and, in football terms, far more sympathetic to Brighton's cause. On the other hand if it is just 3/4 of you having a quiet drink then it shouldn't be a problem.

But its not on the tv,so a pub is not going to stream it.

A mate at Selhurst on Saturday seemed to be under the impression that Lewes will be out of bounds to Palace fans, with match tickets being checked. Don't really see how they are going to enforce that though.

distant memory but when we beat them at their new ground, first winners there, I travelled down from Northampton and entered Lewes then by chance bumped into some other Palace fans that invited me to join them for a beer & had a good time with fellow fans before the great result. We walked to the station then were segregated from their fans

Avoid Lansdowne Arms on right as you come out of the station - it is a BHA watering-hole, and can be noisy and aggressive with drinkers spilling out on to the street. Many of the other pubs in Lewes are dying on their feet and would no doubt be glad of any custom. Left out the station and right at the mini roundabout brings you to the King’s Head, and it would save you having to walk past the Lansdowne.

We were planning on going to Lewes but were told on Saturday that we would be turned back from the Station and can only go Brighton if we want to drink. That was from the Old Bill. Think we will go to the spoons will be packed with our fans so a decent afternoon on the lash before hopefully beating the scum.

I've drunk in Lewes each time before the Brighton game. Drive down, park up in the station car park, have a drink, get the train (marginally quicker each way than going to and from Brighton to Falmer). Much more civilised. Never seen any trouble. I suspect the so-called police warnings are urban myth.
