what a shocker that is.

Tell me please how your mob of spend thrifts will fund the 17 billion a year on public services ?? borrowing again, and saddling future generations with that debt.

We are now paying the price for the unchained borrowing during Labours last tenure, to deny that is naive and stupid, something you are not. so I will assume you are just being facetious.

And how is it a dead cat argument. Your Illustrious tramp leader famously thought the EU and it's ideology was elitist and secular, I was merely pointing out that his massive you turn in favour of remaining in the EU, shows that he is not a man of principle and is in fact no better than the rest of the lying pit of vipers that is the house of commons.

Now I'm sure you have some pamphlet's on Trotsky to deliver, wrap up warm buddy It's cold out there.

I'm developing a portable brazier for that reason. Donkey jackets ain't what they used to be.

You keep going on about borrowing. Compare what recent governments have borrowed , I think you'll find your argument to be without Foundation.

When you borrow and why you borrow is important.
Labour borrow to spend it on benefits and unnecessary management.
Where has all the money gone that Blair spent? What have we to show for it apart from the rise of ISIS?

Any hard evidence for this? Methinks people have been hoodwinked by years of false narrative in the media. If you keep saying it, people will believe it.

[Link] Here's some data and pretty graphs about fiscal stuff over time.

Might be worth you reading the labour manifesto (the one that the Tories appeared to have enacted more from than their own one) if you want to know what any borrowing is to go on.

Lol.

Not the huge debt repayments left by Labour then?

Yeah, the Tories have capped spending just to annoy everyone.

Spare me.

Hmm the old its all them, not us, approach. How long have the Conservatives been in power now. They're into their third term, and still blaming Labour for anything.

Of course, Labour loyalists would argue that the borrowing and debt were necessary to reverse the damage done by the previous Conservative government to public services - by decades of tax cuts

Its almost as if no one wants to take responsibility, but want all the glory.

Yes, because the media is all pro Tory. You are kidding?
It's not that Labour recognises that they have been exposed as historical borrowers and wasters and have began a campaign of revisionism or any thing like that?

How long the Tories have been in power does not alter history.
Incidentally, the previous Tory government was doing just fine before 'New' Labour fooled the public into voting for them using naive pop stars and other stupid celebrities.

2.5 years, and they're nowhere near "into their third term."

Yet another thread wasted on Red v Blue/Blue v Red........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

BOTH have contributed to where we are today.
The fact that so many here, many clever brains, never take a step-back and really take the time to wonder why our living standards have continued to fall for many years now baffles me.
This thread should be 'pinned' as the decline in living standards will continue for a good few years longer (sadly).

There'll be no winners.
