What an anti-social, arrogant, inconsiderate piece of work Lukaku turns out to be. Used to admire him as a footballer but will now be delighted to see him fail every time after showing his total lack of consideration to others.

The chap who's taken over his job at Everton seems to be much better at committing misdemeanours.

I was talking about social misdemeanours not footballing ones like the Toffee diver.

Possibly I was smidgin OTT but if you, like me and my family, have ever been plagued by noise perpetrators, you might understand why the subject enrages me?

Properties and the gaps between them are a bit bigger in Beverley Hills than in Wandsworth.

Which surely proves that to attract police and judicial action, the noise pollution must have been far more offensive than Wandsworth levels.

Anyhow, I'm sure you can find an argument elsewhere as I am now closing down.

It's hardly going to be as big a deal in villa size apartments compared to most zones in London. I'd expect there's a bit of noise pollution in Beverley Hills anyway. Lots of people with lots of spare time and spare money, some on holiday in holiday homes, as he was.

So am I closing down but the noise is only going to get so high unless he's revving up motocross bikes and the noise that'll annoy 20 homes in London might annoy 2 in Beverley Hills.

I’m torn on this one. On one hand, footballers have always lived a party lifestyle. On the other, he’s a Belgian footballer with a weird ass accent. What’s he doing in Beverley hills dressing like he’s A$ap rocky?

Jokey comparisons of the importance of noise pollution in an inner London suburb and Beverley Hills indicate that you don’t regard it very seriously.

That is of course your opinion to which you have every right but it was not an opinion shared by the LAPD who arrested Lukaku after five noise complaints in a few days or indeed the unfortunate residents who complained. That misdemeanour could have meant six months in the slammer for the perpetrator. Nothing much?

Noise pollution is a serious anti-social problem and anyone who persistently defies complaints, including one Belgian footballer, is quite contemptible in my view.

Oh, he was on holiday in a rented villa? That’s OK then.

I think instead of just blaming someone on holiday, maybe they should be looking at people renting out homes amongst residents, or who they're renting these homes out to, not that it's the person renting it who's responsible for that.

Although I think footballers can be an arrogant bunch, out for what they can make, I'm not going to get angry about someone having a good time on holiday and making noise. Maybe having holiday makers and residents isn't a good mix. I certainly wouldn't want to be either in that mix.
