Good. Do we want a society where people have to be imported to work for a pittance so we can have cheaper consumerism? Same with Uber, we want a cheaper taxi which means someone else is being undercut and having to work for a pittance We all pay the price at the end of the day whether it be tax credits or wage stagnation, food banks; it filters through to everyone's daily life in some form or another. We should make a real change after brexit, make the living wage law and pay people what they are worth. You get what you pay for in this world

This also applies to meat and the huge demand for cheaper and cheaper meat is the main reason why chickens and pigs are raised in such poor conditions. Originally posted by Pussay Patrol

It's a vicious cycle. Look at our high street - basement price shops doing well like Lidl, Primark, Poundshops, then there's loan companies, pawnshops and betting shops. Anything higher end is dying on it's arse. Borrowing is at record highs. A reflection of British society, and a current wealth imbalance.

Cheaper isn't always better, especially for the people you force to carry that cost. The people, all of them, come first, not companies or profits.
