Choking doesn't necessarily mean coming to any harm in the end. In any case it's no worse than someone who calls himself a Palace fan calling a Palace player a coward in print.

He is a coward. Have a scout around online, you’ll find that it is an opinion shared by quite a few Palace fans. Some other non Palace fans on Twitter day the same. I’m doing nothing wrong by calling a spade a spade.

I never mentioned in my opinion. There’s nothing from this whole episode that can go against me when Wayne is moved out without playing another game for us. It will be the infuratable truth that he was an abject failure and a huge mistake by the club to have signed him. Doesn’t matter how many of you lot want to try and shoot my argument down. The evidence will be there forever in history and won’t be able to be rewritten. So let’s just finish this and move on.

I think it says in the post right above this one that it's an opinion, or am I misunderstanding that?

Oh, and selling him on at Christmas won't prove, or make, Hennessey an "abject failure". He's played for us for long enough and held his place for long periods. He might not be what we need now, but that does not make him an "abject failure", words with which you insult one of our longstanding players.

Glenn Murray was sold for not very much money. Was he an "abject failure"? What about Jedinak? If we now sell Puncheon, whose star does seem to have set, has he been an "abject failure" too?

In my humble opinion, none of the players mentioned can be termed "Abject failures" at our club.

All of the other players above will forever be held in high regard with the Palace faithful. If you can honestly say that Hennesey would be held in the same regard or ever has been, the. I’m afraid sir you would be lying.

Agree with this but attempts to replace Jules have been rubbish to be honest. Interesting that Gazzaniga was presumably behind MaCarthy at Southampton before they let him go to Spurs.

Same Gazzaniga was Saints best player when we beat them 1-0 in December 2015 and WH helped win us the game with a couple of big saves.

And if you say that Hennesey would be held in the same regard as Mutch, Akinbyi or Bumfluff then you, Sir, are on glue.

You seemed to indicate that not picking a player for a time and then selling him, perhaps cheaply, was evidence of abject failure. I demonstrated that this wasn't the case. I didn't make the claim you suggest above.

We’ve had a few internationals since then better than Hennessey. kolinko, Myhre Vaesen, Kiraly.

Two of those were on loan (and I don't recall either being for long.)

Kolinko was a donkey. Best keepers we have had were Glassy and Matt Clarke who we lost to injury.

Gabor was fun but as gaff prone as others on here like to portray Wayne as.

Matt Clarke was fantastic. Same stamp as a wayne but he could move and was brave.
No sure about Jimmy Glass though? Did he even play a game for us? Know he’s a ledge up in Carlilse.
