Tomorrow. A very sombre day for Croydon and for Palace.

A memorial service will be held in New Addington at 10.30 and there is a plinth

A memorial has also been built on the Addiscombe Road. It’s behind a temporary fence at the moment.

Some kind of gathering going on at the bottom of Sandilands now. Some important looking Police Officers there. The new memorial is now open.

Hopefully they can now get on with 7 charges of manslaughter against the driver.

The driver's union ASLEF's Finn Brennan said tram drivers still have a "fear" of being sacked if they "report being tired".

So they should. More so when you fall asleep on the first job of the day. If a truck driver fell asleep and killed people, everyone would expect them to face the consequences.

Optimistic as ever
