most teams make signings on deadline day, incase you dont understand how transfers work let me explain it to you. the market moves are basically dictated by the big boys, when there targets are signed then the middle class sides have a cahnce to sign thier cast offs, then when the middle class sides sign the big boys cast offs...bottom dwellers like palace get to sign their players, obsviously its not always 100% in that order but its pretty much like that. then theres the games of brinksmanship that come into things...so lets take for example when we sold yannick, or when we sigbed sakho. clubs spend all summer trying to get a good deal or create a bidding war, then when they realise thats not going to happen they decide to play ball at the last minute just to get pounds into the coffers, as lets face it, its better liverpool make interst on £26m fro sakho til january rather than not have the money ready for the next window. then we have agents involvement, they can see we were desperate fro a striker and at the last minute ask for a extra £500k for a omar niasse, bumphuknowhere turkish striker just becasue they can. and the reality us that even if we has secured the services of either bang average striker we were linked with, and they played abd didnt score there would still be nincompook fans on here asking why we didnt sign a £20m backup strikee rather than a £10m backup striker. if parish built a 50’000 stadium and signed neymar there would still be idiots moaning about s*** hot-dogs. goodnight Oh shut up he leaves his managers to put up with inadequate planning and this time it's fvcked us, plain and simple. Nobody leaves positions we're exposed in other than us, TWICE. Being clever is one thing and getting away with it, thinking it'll work again and again us negligence. No planning, no appreciation for actual football requirements. Sorry me Parish.

You're not far off tbf. Although I'm enjoying these teenie victories, after Chelsea incidentally breaking a duck, the task ahead relies on so much luck it's a joke. Probably 3 wins in a row with Benteke before Christmas, in form and full fitness.

Do you have to hijack every thread to say the same thing over and over and over again. This is supposed to be a thread about sakho and you start on SP yet again. You've said the same thing on so many threads it's getting really boring. I don't know if you were at the game today, but the fightback and performance in the second half should be admired, but that would be too much for you, wouldn't it. I think you'd love us to get relegated, so you can tell everyone how you were right from day one, and quote all the posts over again.

It was good to see he was at the match on Saturday. I have often wondered what club policy is regarding injured players. Are they encouraged to attend home games or is it entirely down to them. Anyway he was there with Soaure which, at least to us fans, suggests they care and wish to support their team mates. Anyone seen Connor lately?

They must be expected to be at the games due to the high attention to tactics and that. How play is developing and to see how your teammates are performing and what they're capable of or not.

Whats all the constant talking about championship next year? We beat Chelsea, played well against Newcastle and could have got points, rescued a result against West Ham. Palace are on the up, many games to play and only 5 points from safety. You guys all hamming it up that the clubs finished and we're down. Well frankly it was boring yesterday and even more so after todays draw. No way we go down. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edited by Medway Eagle (30 Oct 2017 5.43pm)
