Roy would be the perfect fit to get us back up, and I'd suspect he'd have the balls to stay with us. I'd also imagine the board would want him in place rather than a championship manager.

400 years.

The total combined age of our 7 managers whilst in The Prem. Average of 57 years. Lucky FDB was appointed otherwise that would be touching 60.

Coppell was 28 when he began with us and Venables first time around was 37.

Time, when Roy goes, to break old habits methinks, if you'll pardon the pun.

Not to my old Mum it isn't!
Sorry - but you have started a thread of pure speculation of what if's.
It seems pointless to me that's all.
No offence intended.

I'm fairly sure he will stay with his home club.Your username has an air of authenticity that I cannot deny.

but

what if between now and new years day we only win 1 and a draw here or there out of the 13 games with him in charge leaving us with say... 8 points come end of play on the 1st of January

would the board have the guts to sack Roy or, are we all in until the end of the season?

serious question

Its not a question, as there isn't an answer. Just fishing for opinions.
Dolphins Mums bins are more important.

I am obviously a Palace nut but I can understand that to some people getting their bins emptied is more important than our ups and more recently our downs and who our manager will be and how long or short a time he might be keeping his job. They might also argue that getting your bins emptied is actually a health issue and would be of far greater importance than a football game that watching will probably actually shorten our lives.

Putting the bins out is an issue of national importance. Theresa May and husband Phil felt it was important to let the country know that Phil put the bins out on the one show.
