On Motd they said the 3 promoted sides had the best points total for 9 years but between them they haven't spent much Pre season they were all touted for relegation and have predominantly championship squads. Does this blow apart the theory you have to spend to stay in the premiership or that the standard is at an all time low?

2 of them have played us and won for a start. Palace and Everton poorly assembled for this level. Brighton and Newcastle have both beaten West Ham. They're absolute sh1t as well. 20th for workrate and not surprising having seen them v Brighton. Brighton beat Newcastle and obviously someone or both have to take points. It must be a first for all three promoted sides to be in the top 12 after 9 games. Await to be put right! Edited by rob1969 (23 Oct 2017 6.55pm)

Simple 1 really with Wagner hughton & benitiz, there've had settled management & settled sides, you could argue with a couple there are punching above there weight. If the standard is at an alltime low doesn't say much about us.
