These people need to lose their f***ing monopoly, which is the only reason they get away with this sort of s***. Finally bit the bullet and decided it was time to start getting the proper sport channels because spawn wants to watch Champions' League and we both want to watch Premier League and other stuff. So signed up to get BT Sport. Spent an hour last night and two hours tonight on the phone trying to find out why we cannot view anything using a computer or tablet, not receiving promised E-mails, finding that agreed credentials don't work and then being told that they are wrong. Asked what the username they had for the account were, not telling you. OK, so what do you do? Set up another user ID and password. Then associate it with your account. OK, done that, it wants my account number. What is my account number? Not telling you. If you ask nicely they will send you a letter telling you what your account number is and this takes five business days. A week. So am I going to start paying for this only after a week, once you start giving me the service I asked for? Nope. Are you actually going to tell people when they sign up, or even when they research your products, that there's a week's lead time on accessing BT Sport content via Internet? Nope. I received, signed and returned electronically an employment contract for a permanent job with a three-month notice period in five minutes flat, yet they cannot give you access to a bunch of football matches in less than a week. Are these people for real? Oh, and Arijit reckons he "understands how frustrating it is" for us to miss two Champions' League matchnights and spend them on the phone trying to sort this s*** out. Really? Not unless he has a nine-year-old Real Madrid fan in the house who thinks he's earned a reward, he doesn't.

But don't stream games illegally. It affects the money these poor, honest, locally based, family-run businesses can make. Sky inflated the prices thinking nothing would ever match them. BT followed suit. Cannot wait for the eventual break and everyone has Bein Sports in their home and can watch every single game including the 3pm kick-offs. My heart bleeds.

Indeed. I can't imagine having an offspring that didn't support The Eagles! Sorry CF, I do sympathise. I always dread my annual conversation with BT where I grovel to get broadband for anything close to the price they are giving it away to new customers. Where I live, there's no viable alternative.

I added by broadband to my account and told them to remove the sport part as I was on an economy drive at the time and looking to save money. Told this was.ok. they opened me a separate account for the broadband on a separate direct debit but continued taking the sport part. I cancelled it and they basically kept billing me and now keep sending snotty debt collection letters. Spent over an hour on the phone one night last winter assured it was all sorted and nope letters still keep coming. Most of their staff speak f*** all English as well.

They're terrible, as are Virgin and Sky. The services they offer are pretty good but you're in the lap of the gods when it comes to support calls. Notified Virgin we were moving house, two weeks before we moved, specifically so we could ensure a engineer to hook up the internet on the Monday (as my wife works from home). Virgin confirm its all booked. Monday the 2nd no one comes. Phone up to find out why, and it turns out that Virgin have booked the guy to come round on 02/10/2019. F**ktards

F**ktards Annoying, I know, but I'd be prepared to accept that as an unfortunate keying error (there but by the grace of God, etc) however, the measure of their customer care would be to what extent they pulled out the stops to put it right. Let me guess; to no extent whatsoever...

Yesterday these idiots phoned me about a dozen times to plead with me to tell them my complaint was resolved, even though it hasn't been addressed at all. Oh, and they tried to tell me that "the regulator" insists that they only send account numbers in the post which (being a data architect) I could tell immediately was lies. Regulators don't tell you what to do, they only tell you to prevent certain things from happening.
