I had 10 quid each on draw 4/1 and win 8/1, more a show of faith than anything else.

Shall same for Newcastle but of course odds wont be up to much

Anyone else get something from the bookies from Chelsea?

Good on you if yes

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Newcastle are 1/1 Evens.

Draw is 5/2.

Palace are 10/3.

Palace win (Draw no bet) is 2/1.

Palace to beat Chelsea (Draw no bet) was 3/1 I think.

Always bet responsibly.

I had 2-1 at 33/1 on Betfair and Wilf last goalscorer at 14s with Bet365.

They weren't my only bets, mind, and I'm owed a bit back this season.

Still, it's a start.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

Hats off to anybody who backed us to win on Saturday. I can’t say I was exactly filled with confidence but I did think we’d score.

I'm with you on that one... I had a feeling we would score bit certainly didn't think we would win.

My Chelsea supporting mate had been saying for the last 3 weeks that we would turn them over. So much so that he actually had a score on us to win at 8/1

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Rudi as palace fans that may well have been our last thought.
Support responsibly and look after your heart might be more apt.

I had 9/1 Palace/Palace 1st half 2nd half in corals and 11/1 group bet on Skybet 1.0 2.0 or 2.1 win. had 2 other bets that didn't come in so overall £180 up. Oh, and £5 from the Chelski tw@t at work.

I rarely bet now but I had 50 quid on Palace at 7/1 on Betfair. They were 9/1 on Thursday evening prior to the press conferences. I just had that "typical Palace" sort of feeling going into the game, and the odds were just too good (despite our form).

Fair play to you, I was not tempted by the odds mentioned as thought it impossible to win without a striker!

What do I know?

I bet to make money and not for pleasure or enjoyment so I look at my selections from a cold hard headed perspective. I tend to back big on small priced favourites a nick a small bit here and there. Adds up over a week and there's little risk (unless there's an upset)

I put £100 on Chelsea when I saw the team selection. 1.44 with bet365. I got worried when I saw how brightly we started. I was able to switch the bet when we went a goal up. Ended up with £50 cash out on palace at 2'37 and then I had to sit tight and hope. Those last 5 minutes I had my hands over my eyes. A lesson not to bet on a game I intend to enjoy watching. Won't be doing that again. Man city and Tottenham were my other teams and gave me less of a heart attack
