Sorry if this has been covered eslewhere. Back in August I arranged with some on here to use my ST for game I couldn't attend. My son called the ticket office at SP and they arranged to email the ticket to the guy who was using it, all good and efficient and free. Now, I want to do the same over Xmas. I am now being told that the ticket office has withdrawn this service and all transactions have to be through Twickets which charges a fee to both seller and buyer. Anyone have any recent experience? If this is the case would have to pass over the physical tickets rather than email. Any help / input appreciated. Thanks

HK I can only offer some help indirectly. I am aware that someone I know had their season tickets suspended for the Chelsea game because he was trying to sell a couple of them on Facebook. My understanding is he had previously been given a warning by the club for not using Twickets. So my assumption is that someone at the club was trawling the Palace Facebook pages saw these up for sale reported him and they suspended his tickets. One could say the bloke was an idiot having been previously warned but others could say Grass & Nanny state. Edited by NICK THE EAGLE (16 Oct 2017 8.37am)

Thanks guys So it seems that unless you are OK with passing around the actual season tickets then need to use Twickets. 8 quid per transaction for sending a couple of emails is nice work if you can get it. One wonders who owns Twickets.....

Put it this way, on the big screen on Saturday they were advertising Twickets so I would assume that’s a yes.

Did a search for Twickets. Talks about fan to fan, presumably with no re-packaging (that is you have a un-needed junior ticket which could be converted to an adult ticket). For a junior ticket (which cannot be used by an adult) there is a risk of no sale taking place. Does Twickets have a list of all Palace members (with client numbers) as a list of suitable purchasers, or could my ticket go to an opposition supporter?

Thanks The box office converted mine to etickets last week & emailed them to me so not sure why it’s an issue.

In response to your question Heathman, Twickets ask for your membership number, name and postcode. When that checks out the sale can go through.
