just seen on MOTD 2 that saints awarded a penalty for a foul after the the ball was poked out of play and therefore LONG was not in control of the ball. A situation that zaha last season was in several times but won no penalty and got a yellow for diving.
I cant explain it.

I also can't explain why Yedlin was not sent off for a horrible and dangerous foul when he already had a yellow card. Of course had he been he'd have been banned from the next match. Whom would he have been playing? Palace.

The Ref did not see it.
So cannot give it.

If he didn’t see it why did he give him a long lecture about it? And where the hell was he looking if he didn’t see a foul (that he gave) in a wide open part of the pitch? Just asking.

The clip I saw on MOTD2 showed another player in the refs vision.
The pundits agreed that he should of been booked.
Which would of been a second yellow and off.
Not sure about the lecture.

I was kind of hoping it was because he couldn't spell "Yedlin". In which case he would have had no hope of spelling "Milivojevic".

I think he saw it and if he didn't the linesman ought to have seen it. I think he just bottled it.
