He's got better, a lot better, he was a total liability a few years back at Liverpool. He's not stupid, he'll learn from his mistakes.

I think he was trying to play it off the Chelsea player for a goal kick? It looked to me that he was trying to get the ball away from goal towards the edge of the penalty area, but it caught a Chelsea forward on the leg and was deflected across the front of goal. There were no other forwards there. The commentator on the radio said that he had put the ball across his own six-yard box (he hadn't, it was deflected) and that the ball had then run along the goal line between the posts (it hadn't, it was three or four yards out). It then fell to I think Dann, who did what Sakho should have done, i.e. boot it into orbit. We seem to get a bit frayed in the last few minutes defending a one-goal lead or a point and composure seems to go out the window. Van Aanholt, that means you as well. Edited by chateauferret (17 Oct 2017 11.27pm) It's taken 8 league games to get into a position to defend a 1-0 lead.!!

Big up i very much doubt you'd have said this if it had gone in, however, agree he did have a great game on the whole and the rustiness of the last month or so has now gone, hopefully for good. Also agree with the poster who says he's always got a mistake in him - suppose it's part of the package. Far more positives than negatives though
