I didn't realise they had jobs in the first place. I suppose some of them could get casual hours at McDonalds, couldn't they?

Assumed they were all on zero hours contracts anyway, except being richly paid for it. Oh, and being completely unsackable. Worse that can happen is the party whip is withdrawn and you get voted out next time. While reaping your £70K pa plus expenses in the meantime of course
