Listening to the podcast now and must say the Shane guy just seemed to real off a list of every mistake ever made. He didn't want to converse and actually listen to the panel and just drum on about all the bad decisions. Everyone can find bad decisions when looking at anyone's history and to just focus the 'conversation' around that and clearly not want to debate with the panel. Well must say it was bollox. But that being said I can imagine many many fans hold the same views and don't wanna know anything else apart from their list of mistakes. No ones perfect and no ones saying Parish shouldn't be called out on the mistakes he has made. But have a proper conversation about it rather than just talking over everyone with your hate list. Love the show though. Next caller is actually discussing things, much better.

If you listen, you'll hear Hambo admit something like he reverts to his default position of defending Parish that originates from the early parish days, same as I used to. Then the hosts do admit the mistakes and then they bring in the 'inevitability' of it all based on none of the mistakes over the last 2 years plus and more over things like 'it just happens' or 'we're due it' etc etc. The icing on the cake this week was the creative reasons on the BBS but a lot more defeatist, and a while after parish saying we should think like a prem club but later he regrets releasing Campbell. The mistakes happened. We would be okay for now if a few of them didn't but there's too many and it'll send us down. The time that it might've caught up with us may have been next season. It may still be if Roy's a magician. And next summer if we do stay up is when we should be doing things that we've not done so far like forward planning, and hopefully business like West Brom. But that's a dream and we'll be rebuilding big time for the championship instead. I'm actually used to it but hope this faffing about stops and we do things with football in mind more than every deal coming being a priority more than the importance on our chances and getting a team together rather than a patched up excuse for one because we've written off the first 3 games and potentially more if the last minute strategy fails again, for the 3rd, 4th, 5th time.
