5 seasons ago, the summer before our return to the big time, a spoof "new fan" appeared on our message boards. The idea being to parody the kind of fan that we might expect to collect as we became more successful. Norbert's total lack of knowledge for our history and identity was mildly amusing but also gave an insight into what we were going to experience on the message boards. Norbert would leach on the joy of success and then disappear when times got hard as I'm sure many 'new fans' have but what has really surprised me is the amount that have stayed on simply to moan and bitch. Norbert has disappeared for some time now, probably soaking it up on NSC, I wish some others on here would join him.

I thought this was a thread about my former boss at work, who is called Norbert. However, he comes from Regensburg and supports 1860 Munich so perhaps not. Edited by Mr_Gristle (18 Sep 2017 9.10pm)
