The problem isnt letting goals in, its scoring them.

We only let in more than 1 goal on 2 occassions and if we had scored 2 goals per game, we would be sitting on 10 points now and be sitting in 4th!

All starts from the back. If players have confidence in the defence, it gives them confidence to push forward more, play higher up the pitch and take more chances going forward. No confidence in defence and you play deep, don't get forward too much, and don't take chances unless you make a mistake....

I'd like to see Lumeka given another run out...this time alongside Benteke. Also Hungbo has been attracting a lot of interest...would like to see what he's capable of also

Exactly...if you don't concede you'll never lose

Souare is crap, always was so not really looking forward to it. Van Aanholt is our best LB.

Hope Roy H. play Sakho for half a game, those dirty kicking ba...rds from Huddersfield might send him back to the treatment table. Would like to see Damien D. play tonite and give some pay-back from the way they injured (on purpose) Zaha in first game.

You're wrong.

I'm glad to have him back.

Oops,I'll start again. How can you say that about Souare he was excellent until injury forced us into buying not one but two replacements neither of which are as good as he was.Hope he makes first choice left back again.Best of luck Pape.

Not lately, van Aanholt has been poor so far this season and it looks as though de Boer has f***ed him up like Milivojevic, although there aren't any stories of what might have been said between the two. Schlupp isn't really a left back at all but plays there as a second string; his pace makes him more effective further forward.

The only reason for not playing Souare now that he's available is that that was one f***er of an injury to come back from and nobody knows yet whether he'll be as strong as he was before it happened. We will know more about that by bedtime tonight, I guess.

He was good going forwards but at the back he was terrible. Only ever got one assist so can't exactly say he was brilliant at going forwards though to be honest. Van Aanholt has two goals in half a season which was more of a contribution.
