I hope that neither Roy, nor any of the players, are thinking like you Willo. You are quite right, we haven't lost the next three games, but I think that many don't give us a chance of getting a single point from them. I don't get all this "Mathematically impossible" mantra. We know damn well that clubs who are stricken at the bottom and cut-adrift might have a mathematical chance of survival but realistically they have no hope.Thankfully we are not there yet and hopefully Hodgson will use all his experience and ensure we are not in this perilous position. So long way to go in the season and I live in hope !

Having lost our first five games we are, maybe surprisingly, only four points away from safety so feel it a little premature to be predicting certain relegation with 33 games still to be played. Someone (anyone!) score a goal and things could change considerably within a few games. Don't despair - and anyway there is still life outside the EPL !

Palace’s performances at the end of last season and Leicester’s achievement in 2014/15 do give me some hope we’ll get out of trouble.

I didn't give up at the beginning of the year, when all that wrist-slashing was going on because we didn't get the "new manager bounce" when Sam was appointed, and I'm sure as hell not giving up now, when there's 33 games to go, even if we get nothing out of the next three. Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |
