You are quite right, we haven't lost the next three games, but I think that many don't give us a chance of getting a single point from them.

Having lost our first five games we are, maybe surprisingly, only four points away from safety so feel it a little premature to be predicting certain relegation with 33 games still to be played. Someone (anyone!) score a goal and things could change considerably within a few games. Lets see how things are at Christmas when Roy has some time on the training ground and both Wilf and Sakho are hopefully fully fit. Don't despair - and anyway there is still life outside the EPL !

Having lost our first five games we are, maybe surprisingly, only four points away from safety so feel it a little premature to be predicting certain relegation with 33 games still to be played.

Someone (anyone!) score a goal and things could change considerably within a few games.

Lets see how things are at Christmas when Roy has some time on the training ground and both Wilf and Sakho are hopefully fully fit.

Don't despair - and anyway there is still life outside the EPL !

Palace’s performances at the end of last season and Leicester’s achievement in 2014/15 do give me some hope we’ll get out of trouble. Remember Leicester? With just 10 games left they were bottom of the table with 19 points and 7 points away from safety. They finished the season in 14th place with 41 points and 6 points above the relegation zone. Palace’s performances at the end of last season and Leicester’s achievement in 2014/15 do give me some hope we’ll get out of trouble.

Remember Leicester? With just 10 games left they were bottom of the table with 19 points and 7 points away from safety.

They finished the season in 14th place with 41 points and 6 points above the relegation zone. That’s 22 points from 10 games, which is championship form........err, oh yes.

There's always hope Willo I didn't give up at the beginning of the year, when all that wrist-slashing was going on because we didn't get the "new manager bounce" when Sam was appointed, and I'm sure as hell not giving up now, when there's 33 games to go, even if we get nothing out of the next three. I didn't give up at the beginning of the year, when all that wrist-slashing was going on because we didn't get the "new manager bounce" when Sam was appointed, and I'm sure as hell not giving up now, when there's 33 games to go, even if we get nothing out of the next three.
