Not sure if this has been said, but I honestly feel sorry for FdB.

I'm not close to what's gone on behind the scenes or who he's fallen out with, but 4 games doesn't feel enough, particularly when he hasn't has Wilf or RLC to make a difference, two players that would walk into the majority of PL sides.

I've supported Palace for over 40 years, and today feels a pretty s***e day in amongst all of that. Not saying FdB would have been the next Sir Steve, but think he probably deserved a little more support to give it a go.

I didn't think it was the right appointment at the time, but neither do I think this is the right decision now. I hope FdB has success elsewhere in the future, I just hope it doesn't bite us on the arse!

Gutted for him but he was a cheap option. God help us with Roy Hodgson if its him.

Set amounts of compensation are only believed to kick in from this December as it was never expected he would prove to be such a spectacular flop so quickly.
