The general consensus wisely seems to be to let him get on with job and I agree with that but....

Southampton
Man City
Man Utd
Chelsea

My question is after yesterday's much improved performance what would be for you the lowest acceptable return points wise, and assuming team attitude is fine, for FDB to be able to carry on after those games?

I'd be ok, just, with 1 point.

Presumably no Wilf or Sakho for the Southampton match at least, no Fosu-Mensah for the United one and no Loftus-Cheek for the Chelsea one. I think we just have to grit our teeth, set ourselves up like yesterday, practice shooting and do the best we can. We should have Loftus-Cheek and Milivojevic available and de Boer now knows what a muppet Lee can be. After the Chelsea game would be a sensible point at which to consider what the team looks like at that point.

TBF we really ought to be getting something from Southampton who look quite rubbish ATM, but pressure is likely to be counterproductive, especially in the case of Tekers, and rushing players back who aren't fit would be damaging too. We could have done with Milivojevic yesterday but not at the cost of losing him for six matches with sore bollocks.

Probably yesterday we failed to score from 22 chances because everyone was banging on about how Palace couldn't score in a brothel. Not helpful and not the first time.

Oh, and we should probably dr^H^H rest Puncheon.

Yep, 1 point and some decent performances and I'd be happy. A couple of goals would be nice

I'm fearing we'll have nothing on the board after these 8 matches. I suppose if the performances are there then it makes no sense at the moment to get rid.

Providing the players are playing for him and there's no problems behind the scenes then you give him untill Christmas. Letting him no full well if we find ourselves in the bottom three then that's unacceptable, regardless of performances it's a results based business. Pretty much every manager in the bottom 3 gets replaced at Christmas so you can't really moan.

According to the news Frank has been sacked ??

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.
