Aren't threads great when we are all 'together'? MS looks like he loves it at Palace!
Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |

Mama is hard but not as hard as big Jim Cannon and Mickey Droy back in the days when a player could give out as good as they got. Or have I got my rose tinted specs on. Either way I'm not going to argue with him.

You only have to look at some of the strikers in the Prem and their false eyelashes drop off.

I think we saw last season that Mama is well up to the physical side of things. He saw off Deeney Rondon Costa and Giroud no problem

BIG John McCormick [RIP], In my opinion, was just as scary a hard Center Back who helped the Palace make their debut into the top flight of English Football at the end of the 69-70 season, definitely would not want to pick on him. Loved watching him solidly manning the back of the field and the box with John Jackson in goal.
School, SN.Juniors, SN High, Selhurst. 1st match 1972 CP 2 N. Utd 1. Thank you, John Jackson and Vince Hilair for brightening our darkest days. I moved to the west country in 1983. Always Proud and 'Glad All Over' to be a Palace Fan. )) |
