There does seem to be some confusion over his exact status. Certainly he was widely reported in the press as being a free agent and he was shown on Transfermarkt's list of players released, but he's now shown as having a contract until next year, that started two years ago. However, he does not appear on Osmanlipor's list of current players. There were suggestions in the press that it was he who wished to end his three year contract a year early, so perhaps there's a bit of a wrangle over that?

Can't be out of contract then.

He's having problems at Osmanlispor, but he's still a great striker. They'd be willing to let him go for free if someone takes his wages
