You have a great way of raising hackles. Some would say that is the art of trolling

Yes Johnnie come lately indeed.

I think the other thread I started seriously contradicts your statement that I don't want to listen to other people's perspectives however.

Speaking of which I agree with most of what you said however I think top 6 sounded very ambitious.

As for raising hackles, yes maybe I should admittedly work on that, i am tightly wound ATM especially with regards to Palace, apologies.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

You can sit there and say people are self serving thought police all you like but don't claim to be a supporter and boo the team whilst trying to implement a style from the gaffer because "it's not the palace way". Yeah cos that Palace way has left us in an exemplary place hasn't it.

The problem is, I've seen a side to Palace fans this season that is different than I've ever seen and it's f***ing embarrassing. We're not the best fans at all, were a bunch of whiney shortsighted know it alls with a losers mindset who think that booing players and staff is a good way of achieving success after 3 games.

Our fans have a massive problem with ambition and are all too happy to accept our lot. I've said this so many times, if Frank were to fail at his job then he'd fail, Parish has shown consistent ruthlessness and he'll no doubt show it again if necessary but in my opinion, and no doubt the majority will hound me and disagree with me for this but I genuinely believe this - we as fans have already decided that whatever he wants to do will not be accepted or tolerated and the writing is already on the wall. The effect we have on the team is not to be understated and before people give me the BS about today, and it was shocking first half I'm not saying it wasn't, but this begun before we even kicked a ball in pre-season and there were so many that were literally just itching for us to lose so they could make their poisonous bulls*** well heard and justified, sad and pathetic.

If you're gonna try a new style, everyone has to buy into it and you have to go for it wholeheartedly - otherwise it's pointless and even more damaging. Please explain to me how on earth the players who "can't play football" apparently are ever going to be comfortable i possession when in the back of their mind they have full knowledge that they are one wrong pass away from 75% of the ground whining like little girls.

I'm not defending today's performance or Frank but for me a big part of his demise will be down to the fact that the fans were never willing to get behind the idea of actually improving our style of play. The writings been on the wall from day one.

Best supporters in the prem?

Do me a favour.

Window not even shut, two defeats and already the numptys on here are screaming for blood.

After today it's just turned to a baying mob.

I'm ashamed to be connected to people on this forum who are dishing out disgusting insults and personal abuse to a manager of our club even at this early stage. What is the matter with you?!

Yes, today was awful but what knid of supporters do this club have?

All this talk of 'DNA' 'Cheese head' F****** C**** - my God get a grip and just have a look at yourselves!

We are 3 points from 14th place with the window still open and a frantic last few days, inevitably, before it closes. It was always going to be like that.

I can tell you this: I will support the manager because he hasn't been given a chance yet. We have absolutely no idea what is going on in terms of the training ground or transfers.

You panickers make me laugh. A few good results and you'll be talking about Europe. Have a word with yourselves.

After the window shuts, the season settles down and we are in November, then I'll be looking at what the situation is.

In the meantime. Good on you Frank, and the players.

I don't care what anyone else writes. I'm Palace and will support Frank De Boer for some time yet.

Now I expect some one will, no doubt, call me a F**** C*** and spread the hate.

Come on - bring it on!

GREAT POST
It perfectly surmises them because They are commonly known as TROLLS

Im not going to let them get to me, im a Palace Fan.

I can guarantee you we won't be talking about Europe this season.

In Frank's defence the 2nd goal was an abysmal error by Kelly and the game is likely to be finished. The 1st I'd have to see again. Probably a case of defence not getting being focused and sharp and tight to the opposition. To let a goal in on HT is tough and shyte at the same time.

But there are blatantly obvious players in the wrong positions in a 3-4-3.

Ward. Where do you start?

PVA. Just passes inside and back. At least v Huddersfield he could say he was being closed down quickly. Not vs Swansea. Nobody near him and it goes back.

Kelly in a back 3. Oh my god.

Having ward at lb in the 2nd half? Was PVA injured or was Frank p1ssed with his pathetic performance? Why wasn't Schlupp brought on? Ward's being right footed left crosses not made and slowed anything down.

Punch starting?

Buying Riederwald to play 3-4-3. The errors are just

You have forgotten to mention how Tomkins was injured and replaced by Kelly. When things go wrong....

Absolutely spot on mate and great post. People were on his back about the style at 0-0 against Huddersfield ffs. For some reason people have just not taken to him at all.

More unnecessary insults just because someone has a different opinion. If anyone cares we should be asking for answers not telling people to go away. This is the wrong place if you want silence.

It's not abuse as I highly doubt FdB or SP sift through these posts it is people venting a lot of anger with real justification.

People like you are the worst possible for this club ATM, people don't support Palace glory hunting we all do so because it's part of who we are and we will carry on supporting the team irregardless.

The same way we have the opposition party to the government to keep it in check people need to speak out against the current nonsense and again are entitled to.

What we do not need is the self serving thought police (you).

That's not strictly true about glory hunting imo. Where did the extra 9k fans come from at selhurst when we got promoted?

Don't know why you have responded to me here with this point? I have never booed Palace nor did I today. Also, I don't know where this comes from although I think we have been great in past years, I've never referred to us as 'the best fans' not from any opinion on the matter I would just consider that a weird thing to come out with (only for me personally).

Thirdly, I would like to state that I actually suspended my logical thinking on Franks plans throughout pre season to just 'wait, see and hope'. I obviously didn't want Palace to fail I would have been deliriously happy had FdB pulled it off but the start this season has for me personally brought my logical thinking crashing through my front room in that this is a ludicrously ambitious idea doomed to failure.

My original point is what I am sticking to however in that far from being worried with people being unhappy with things, even if some do (understandably) go about it like pissed off teenagers, I am more concerned with people thinking they have a right to tell others what to think and do, hence "thought police".

If you remain optimistic then fine fair enough that's your opinion as my frustrations are my own, but don't go trying to enforce some happy clappy moonie cult mentality or the 'back in the third division' nonsense like a bad two Ronnie a sketch!

A Two Ronnies sketch? Brilliant, but aren't you just trying to influence the way we think? Beware, thought police about!

You literally only posted before to tell me I had only been watching Palace for 7/8 years and that meant I had "no idea" - yes a quote and now you are saying you have seen twice as many games in the lower tiers than in the top tier.

Just for fun, I have been watching Palace for almost exactly 26 years and have seen a far higher proportion of lower league games than premier league but again I would say this is irrelevant and if old boys want to make it a pissing contest on here about how long they've been watching Palace for fine I can't stop you and don't really care but stop commenting on my posts because I find that f***ing boring.

Stop commentating everyone, this blokes thinks its boring. That must be the funniest post ever on a site for debating. It's simple really, if anyone is bored with this kind of site....leave

Hands up all those who will be supporting the Eagles in the National Conference. Do we really want to see Palace do the same thing, season after season, just so we can say..another season in the EPL.
Or would we prefer to institute a better style of play, use players produced by our club and do so at a stadium able to compete with the rest of the league?
Well these are what I aspire to and if that takes time and costs initially then I'm up for it if we know this is the correct course.
But this means no more instant reactions. We have to be better than that. Please, No more scrambling about in a desperate quest for points to be able to repeat the process another time. Time to say enough is enough and think about the next stage in the development of my club.
Those who want instant success and at the expense of our wallets or will not want to support this club outside the EPL, Palace ain't for you.
