oh thats ok then, they're worried about it. thats the season saved then lol.

sick of reading the same sh1t on here every season from the rose tinted brigade. we can all see whats wrong each and every season yet we sit here with all this "i'm sure they know what the issues are and are concerned about it etc etc" and the window closes with a myriad of limp excuses that there was no-one to buy, that the market is overpriced etc etc and we end up sniffing around for the tit bits that are left over.

its getting rather repetitive now

What a wally. Instead coming up with ludicrous suggestion or complaining about the manager, you should of got yourself down to selhurst park. 2nd was massively better and mcarthur looks back to him old self. Fair play to Ipswich fans sung throughout whole match.

As someone who was at the game, the first half was a bit of a yawn. With the various changes made the side did look a bit unbalanced, and with Lokilo and Kaikai up front, rather inexperienced. As usual our passing wasn't great - too much sideways, backwards and to the opposition.

However, as the 2nd half progressed we began to dominate the game, creating lots of chances, and began to look like a Premier League side against weakened Championship opposition.

And yes, McArthur looked great and deserves to be in the reckoning.

I doubt whether Benteke or Townsend would like to hear themselves described as the tit bits left over

1st half was absolutely dire.

well they need to stop playing like it then.

I doubt also that they'd like to hear themselves described as championship players but carry on like they are and thats what they'll be soon enough.

Not for the first time in our history Palace have had a bad start to the season. We've only played two league games so far but already panic has broken out. Lets just cool it somewhat and wait a while longer.
See how things are going come Xmas before crucifying
the players, manager,SP and board.
Maybe those of a particularly nervous disposition should consider supporting another club.

Maybe it's those who persist in telling that to others, with whom they disagree, that should be the ones to "consider supporting another club"?

Palace drifted to 13/10 last night before we scored.

Just been exchanging banter with my bin dipper colleague. Predictably, silent for months and months and then the minute they actually beat us up he pops. Anyway.

Question was: how has Tekers managed to fluff the golden opportunities he has had so far this season?

I think if a striker only gets one or two chances in a match the pressure comes on him when he does get one because it's like the last train to San Fernando, if you miss this one you'll never get another one. But if there is good ball going into the box reasonably often it's more like the number 159 'bus, there's another one along in a minute.

Why has he had few chances? No Wilf. Kicked to bits by Huddersfield and not protected by the ref, so couldn't function; since then, injured. See posts passim regarding we need other attacking options than Wilf.

Of course you might argue that if you're paid £100,000 per year to stick these chances away you should be able to deal with that. I think he will find his angles.

£100k per year? Parish negotiates harder than we thought.

We don't need just some new players we need 7 new players in 8 days before the Summer Transfer Window closes. Which means to get those 7, 2 Forwards, Winger, RWB/RM, 2 Center Halves, and a Goalkeeper we need to sell a sh** ton of players to be able to afford those players.

In the simplest terms, for the most convenient definitions, SP, DF, and FdB need to start working the phones post haste to get this done or we're going to be in this same predicament we were in January of last year panic buying to try and stay up.

Why stop there why not buy 11. After all we are a Premiership club with bundles of spare cash.
