Have we got anyone in the u-23s who can be relied on to be adequate cover for the first choice lads at centre half? No? Selling Kelly for peanuts doesn't appear to make good sense, then.

Kelly became a laughing stock after being put in as a left back, but I'd imagine so would most right footed central defenders. Not gonna be nominated for a ballon d'or any time soon but not a bad player to have in what is a threadbare squad!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Would only want to see Kelly go if it meant we could replace him with a really decent defender as we need adequate cover in defence.
