I use it quite a lot as a parody of the posts that those on the left often make after some terrorist attack by people of non-British heritage has slaughtered innocent men, women and children - it goes along the lines of "we must remember that the NHS would collapse without foreign staff keeping it running" (the implication being that we can put up with a bit of random slaughter as long as the NHS doesn't suffer. It is the left that get vehement about white students having dreadlocks or historical statues being in public places. I don't accept that being subject to terrorism is 'part and parcel' of living in a city - it should not be. Khan should be proposing initiatives to combat it rather than just saying 'watch out there's a terrorist about'.

The usual modus operandi is for people to take every aspect of themselves, then exclude all of that from any possible problem with society. Hence the 'let's imprison members of terrorists families but only if they're muslim terrorists' guff on here recently. We don't need tiers of treatment for different shades of terrorist.
