Something that is clear is that both our opponents so far this season see our right side as a weakness. The bin-dippers even changed things around to put pace up against Ward & force him back. Reckon that's pushed the need for a RWB to the top of our shopping list IMHO.

Things learned from today?
1. when the final whistle blew, Klopp's reaction showed quite plainly how much our previous results had rankled with him......
2. was I the only one to quite enjoy Dann's performance when he moved right up the pitch towards the end? He seemed to be getting 2 or three really good passes through!

Well I didn't enjoy it no!! Especially when he got all tangled up on the edge of the area and also when he seemed to be unaware of the offside rule when you are attacking (as opposed to when you are defending).
why didn't he send up say Jimmy Mac or RLC or even Kaikai?

That and Luka's error were the difference between a 1-0 loss and a 1-0 win. Big improvement over last week's match.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.

Liverpool would say if they lost that the difference between a 1-0 loss and a 2-1 win would have been through their very sloppy finishing, the best result for us would have been 0-0 and fully deserved.

I'd imagine he is still shaking his head over it.

Yes, which is exactly my point. Small things cost us the game, when on another day we could have won that. Against Huddersfield, we were never even close.

By the way, Huddersfield looked good again against Newcastle. Perhaps they are the surprise package this year: there is usually one.

Against Huddersfield we had more then enough chances to get back at them when it was 0-2, we were terrible with marking their players runs off the ball, the rest of our play was good, we lost it more then they won it with our defending which we then did well against Liverpool, I think our next game with Zaha hopefully fit will see a much improved scoreline.

Benteke is just a lump, sorry but i cant stand the bloke. He is lazy, can't control the ball, supposedly the best header in Europe (really) doesn't harry defenders as the 1st line of defence. At £32 million i would expect him to be all over the pitch and missing chances for fun. If he had been a £400k signing from Rochdale he would be banished to the reserves never to be seen again.

Benteke is the best striker we have had for ages defenders cost 50m 32m is great value. Why do you want our striker all over the pitch i want him on the end of crosses like the chance he missed our problem is not CB its no strike partner for him.

There lies the problem, he needs it set up on a plate for him all the time,I think what kenners means is when things are not going for him,as in no decent crosses or service, he doesn't put himself about enough or work hard to try and make something happen ala Wright, Bright, AJ, Murray etc.
