Doesn't come across as bitter at all! Victim of his love for Palace and the banking crisis? Shafted by SP? While his comments re possible failure of an experiment caused by the chairman's obsession with a different style and the Yanks ousting SP is wishful thinking though.

I read on a forum when I bought the club (in 2000) don't bash him...... Not sure about that one.

No insight at all. Might as well have been reading these boards.

To be fair to him he does say a lot of what we are thinking but you can tell he holds grudges and at times likes having digs at Parish.

What I do not like about Jordon is he tries to sound smart using fancy wording but really he is an idiot and a lot of those words do not even make sense in the context he is trying to use them in.

lets not forget this is the guy that destroyed our club because he didn't know what the hell he was doing and even at the end his ego almost ended us

No Chairman, manager is above criticism.
My goodness if it doesn't work out for FDB, Parish really will encur the wrath of supporters (And maybe Harris/Blitzer) as it was he who selected the manager after an exhaustive selection process.

It's something that pees me off that people seem to think Parish is untouchable.

How he got away with appointing Warnock after his public spat with Puncheon is beyond a mistake in my book.

Why do you say that? Even the biggest clubs make mistakes hiring managers. SP can't be expected to be a miracle worker. If it doesn't work out for FDB it will be nothing to do with SP. He can only go on a managers past and their CV. Neither come much better than FDB's.
I think it's wishful thinking on your part to think that the fans will turn on SP should the manager fail(which he won't).

Which is utter bollocks as the Erdvise is much more competetive. My mate did point out the other day though that's Steve McClaren has won the Erdvise.

McClaren was the manager of Twente when they won it for the first time in their history.FDBs Ajax won it for the next 4 years !

Someone said to me the other day that only 5 clubs have won the Eredivisie in the past 50 years or so but I haven't verified if this is the case.

Same as English football since the PL has been about then.

Why on earth would it be "Wishful thinking" ?

I fail to comprehend why you believe I would wish for there to be a scenario whereby Steve Parish would come into criticism for his choice of a manager who failed.

I desperately want FDB to be a success for obvious reasons for heaven's sake but I can envisage that Steve will be the target of vitriol if FDB doesn't live up to expectations. Whether this is justified or not is a matter for debate.Let's hope such a scenario doesn't unfold.

I have to say FDB winning the Dutch League is akin to Brendan Rogers winning the Scottish Premier League with Celtic. Something I am sure any half way decent manager could do. He's in with the Big boys now....
