Saw comments moaning about having to play their first games away due to the athletics, one commented "we're becoming a laughing stock"

Well haven't they got a new ground free, don't have to pay rent or rates? I'm sure use for athletics was in the contract

And 'becoming' a laughing stock? - thought they were

The owners got a great deal. The fans didn't.

This is where we can be smug that Selhurst is no good for athletics, pop concerts or football matches

They had two out of three matches away anyway with the second one having to be changed from home to away as the stadium will not be ready for football soon enough.

It wouldn't surprise me if some of the moaners were against the move in the first place and want to emphasise why they should't have moved.

For West Ham, the London Stadium is the gift that keeps on taking away.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

Exactly this. The move was never about the fans, or their traditional fans, but about saving money and getting in new fans to replace the previous ones.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Definitely the wrong tense but they are a bit thick.

Cynic or realist? It's a fine line!
