Dead [Link] All Creatures Great and Small and Harry Potter actor, as well as an authority on the longbow - it's history, use and development. Great actor, wonderful voice and perfect diction.

Most of the media described him as "Robert Hardy, best known for his role in Harry Potter" which was a bit of an insult. To anyone with a memory that goes back further than 10 years he was Seigfried Farnon and also played Winston Churchill in several different serials as he looked more like Churchill than Churchill did himself

Very fine actor, his Churchill was the standard others are measured by. Saying he was best known for "Harry Potter" is as insulting as Alec Guinness being best known for "Star Wars." He will be missed.
