Does the fact Mark bright was at what was effectively a 4th XI match as opposed to with the squad in France mean its the end of his 'advising' Parish and the board on football matters ?

Alan dunne was lucky not to get sent off as well as he pushed and shoved one off the Palace kids. Mind you there was something rather amusing about 17 years old Palace kids being restrained by the linesman from lunging at Dunne twice his age! No fans on the pitch - everyone was just stunned. Bromley fans are a decent lot and apart from one moment of madness the whole club were very hospitable Bright mentioned he only went to HK to offer his thoughts on the team to FDB and I got the impression he wasn't expecting to be in France. Of course it's customary for Palace to have an ambassador at games like this for good will.

I was a kid but do remember players/staff being really approachable and the big sense of excitement about the coming season. Edited by legaleagle (30 Jul 2017 12.26pm)
