That's a shame. All presenters are asked not to swear but it happens sporadically. Live we can't do much but it's generally beeped in the pod. I would say the number of shows with swearing last year would be 5 at most out of 50 odd. For the record we reason that most people who listen will be familiar with a football stadium and the discussions that happen with fans in general. Providing we ensure that we create an honest conversation that is cleaner than that I think people on the whole are understanding. We certainly don't promote bad language. The early days were sketchy but we have standards now! I get your point for sure, but I'm interested to know if you take the family to selhurst park. If so they would surely hear a lot worse right? f***ing right you would
I refuse to believe there are that many people out there that can't spell. Too f**king lazy, that's what I think. |

A big thanks to those who give their time to bring us Holmesdale Radio. On a separate note,I did used to enjoy listening to Palace Radio in the car on the way to and from home games.Still miss it! I thought it stopped because of rights issues about broadcasting live commentaries of premiership games...

It was a few years ago that I last listened and one individual in particular didn't seem able to string two words together without an expletive in the middle. If things have changed I will give it another try as obviously I am interested in the content. In answer to your question about swearing at a match I don't recall it being too bad on most occasions and wonder if I subconsciously tune it out
