Frank De Boer's Management role, has inspired me with regard to his direct involvement with the team, clear talking to the press, and relationship on and off the pitch with the players. I was pleased to see so many youngster's getting 'proper' senior game time. Yes there will be up's and down's, that's what sport and life come to that is all about. FDB is a winner, and hopefully he will develop that believe into the Palace structure. The fixtures are better for us this year than last. The opposition are still the same, but they are not so intense week after week.Steve Parish is clearly happy with his Manager. Just looking forward to some good games, with a clear indication as to where we are going.

To be fair, that's not how he tells it.

Being totally honest I don't know exactly what happened at Inter Milan and if there were any extenuating circumstances.Think he was only appointed not long before the opening game so a lack of pre-season might have been a factor.FDB did say he had learnt from his experience at the club.

I hope you're right and we shall find out because before anyone gets involved in Prem football, you never really know.

I don't know what you mean by that bit in bold.

Rudi, sorry didn't explain myself so well.
The fixtures last season seem to fall badly for us. Particulary the latter part, although we done exceptional well. There seemed to be clusters of difficult games. I understand that at the end of the day all the teams have to be played at some time, but if you have a bad run of form and injurys, difficult teams in a group can be daunting. It may be me but I think this years fixture list is a lot kinder to us.
