Why don't people lay off Matteo for once? This is down right bullying. If he wants to resurrect old threads then so be it, there's no forum rule against it.

It's been considered poor nettiquette since about 1993 in my experience. It certainly is explicitly verboten on the equivalent forum on th BBS, but here I would regard it as covered by rule 14, i.e. in the same category as shouting. Rule 14 basically covers any activity which makes the forum hard to use or read.

I, & many others want to engage in transfer debate that stretches beyond one dictated exclusively by yourself, but it frankly becomes impossible when you bump a large number of threads to the top of the forum and consequently new suggestions & rumours are submerged to the bottom of transfer talk. I have no problem with you, personally. I don’t dislike you. I’m not intending to offend you. I admire your passion for the game and actually I agree with a lot of suggestions you make in terms of transfers and also transfer strategy. What I do have a problem with is when you, intentionally or unintentionally, appear to condescend other people’s point of view. And resurrecting a number of old threads in quick succession, in my opinion, is doing exactly that. It comes accross as a way of self-moderating the forums, by dampening debate happening in any new player topics, simply because you are not personally interested in them. I apologize if it has appeared this way, I don't see it the way you do. Posting messages on about 8 older threds of players does not make the Transfer Talk section harder to access in my opinion. Nor do I see how I am condescending other people’s point of view. Plus, even though these players are not recent news, there was at one point a thread created, either because there was papertalk or because they were suggestions of someone. I think that it's normal to see what has happened to them, monitor their situation, post in their thread if there's something new.
