Yes I remember the nicknames.I went to every game of that cup run.
Had a £1 on Palace to win the Cup 200/1.
Have never forgiven Saints for crocking Taylor.
Was on the old Dog Track with my mate after the fighting started against Chelsea..!!!!!!

I was at this game of course.
Amidst the unsavoury scenes, one could hear chants of "Addington, Addington" from some of the Palace supporters.
What a fantastic result !!!!

Great win.
A lot of the Chelsea Fans (hooligans)!! were from my old school in Mitcham.
Most lads were Chelsea, other than my best mate and me.
Oh and my Spanish contact who was younger.

Palace 13th 2017/18.

St Josephs produced a healthy mixture for both teams over the years.

That's 3 pre season games that we used a 3-4-3. Do you think frank been impressed enough to stay with against Huddersfield.

Well we didn't look too shabby today. Reckon it's 3:4:3 for Huddersfield.

We'd better be prepared for them to counter us like Burnley did when they beat us 2-0. We conceded quite a few counters today.

The main problems for frank to consider- who's playing Rcb , who's playing alongside puncheon and will Townsend be the wingback.

The PL, even newcomers like Huddersfield, will be a whole different kettle of haddocks to pre-season friendlies. I sincerely hope that FdB's tactics work out, but I have a nasty feeling we're going to have our arses handed to us on a regular basis.

Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing!

Sure, Palace aren't going to be world beaters any time soon. We will have our share of bad results, but hopefully not as many as last season. We still have 4 weeks of the transfer season to bring in a couple of players in the problem positions. There were a lot if rumours about Chambers in particular, so hopefully a deal for him is being sorted as RCB. And we have a lot of good players now. I think we have a distinct possibility of a mid- table finish!

A year ago we thought we were in a good position squad wise. I hope we're not making the same mistake. I know we only play one striker but I feel we're a bit under cooked up front. Glad to see the youth getting a game. If you want to develop them they need to play

I was at the Southampton semi at Stamford Bridge too, and I too had a £1 bet on Palace to win the cup at around 200/1. Sadly I don't think Southampton crocked Taylor - he stretched too far going into a tackle, so it was his own mistake. Far as I remember, we should have had a penalty - same old, same old. Anyone else remember that?

As far as I recall, Peter Rodrigues ran about 30 yards to whack him in the centre circle when the ball was nowhere near. From their point of view job done.
