...that Dyche seems to be out of discussions. He would have been a total disaster.

Considering he kept up a newly promoted side up with a smaller budget , inferior players , using a core of British players and whilst playing a similar style to ours that has bought us success for the last 4 years , i make you completely wrong and would say he was the safest option out of all those linked , didn't Burnley do the double over us ?

Once because of a slew of injuries and once because of a muppet manavger. I think Duche would probably have kept us up but we would have been bouncing around the bottom of the PL with squeaky bums, which is about the best Bunrley have done under him. I don't think de Boer will turn us into world-beaters overnight but he's a notch up from Dyche at least. Also there's a risk that he could implode like Pardew did, which would be lesser with Dyche I suppose.

I'm not saying anything against De boer or even that I wanted Dyche just merely pointing out that Dyche wouldnt be a disaster , because he would've been a solid if unspectacular choice , but who knows what he could achieve here he has been very limited at Burnley in budget and probably attracting players, so may suprise people at a bigger job.
