Finally england win a football world cup competition. Amazing performance for the boys. I hope the management structure can bring them togethor as a group. Perhaps for the euros qualifiers we should ditch the current crop of dross (with perhaps exceptions of kane, alli, dier, clyne, cahill and perhaps hart) and build the england team around the u-20s.

Fantastic ! Well done to all the players and management.
Think I heard that the team who played today only had a total of 31 PL appearances between them but I could be wrong.

The problem is they may not play many more. Many of them will just disappear into the ether or lower league football.

Probably not a bad idea although I read something that said of the 2013 squad (who finished bottom of their group)only 6 have played for England at senior level:
Harry Kane, Eric Dier, John Stones, Ross Barkley. Jon Flanagan and James Ward-Prowse.
Who knows how many of this squad will do so. I'm guessing that the Everton trio of Lookman, Kenny and Calvert-Lewin might be the best bets.

And it was Koeman who bought both Lookman and Calvert-Lewin from 'Smaller' clubs, Charlton and Sheff Utd respectively.

Indeed - something is going right with the current crop - 6 (i think) of the players were part of England's U-17 squad that won the European Championships in 2014. Hopefully this bodes well.

NO "Internet searches".
Watching the TV and PL appearances were brought up and I thought "31" was mentioned.
My reliance on "Internet searches" is over-stated on here.
