Another roller coaster season for us but what would you give it out of 10?

The first half was pretty awful which resulted in Pards losing his job, then in came Big Sam and there were mixed feelings towards him. During January and most of February, we seemed to be playing worse than under Pardew and suffered some awful defeats- Swansea and Sunderland were the worst for me. At this point there were a few people calling for Sam to go and there were probably only a few who thought we would stay up. But then things changed with help from quality performances from signings Luka and SAKHO. 3 consecutive clean sheets (despite the whole team not playing too well) and then fantastic wins against Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool. Despite a few set backs towards the end, we finished the season well(ish).

Although we were pretty sh*t until about February/March, I would have taken 14th place before the start of the season, so I would give this season a 6.5/10

As a very experienced person in management it looked like the 1st thing Sam noticed was the (lack of) fitness of the players.

I'm sure the fans thought there was something not quite right in this area but it was worse than we thought.

This took time to sought out so I feel this is why it took time for good results, as well as the change in our style and new players.

Sam has spoken about this but I would like him to say all what he thought of the situation in regards of the fitness of the players when he started with us.

Aug - Dec 6.5/10, Jan - Feb 6/10 Mar-May 7.5/10.

I suppose you can only really judge the state of the season in terms of how it ended - in which case, 6/10 (if 5/10 is just meeting the minimum expectations of staying up). It's a fairly decent squad we've got, and the damage Pardew caused to fitness and organisation has apparently been largely reversed.

Depends who your asking?

Supporters probably roller coaster, frustrating, annoying, should have done so much better in hindsight. Lowest point Sunderland! Highest points Sakho, Chelsea and Liverpool away, Arsenal home, season overall 5/10.

Steve Parish-Should have been braver and had that meeting with AP earlier! however would he have got SA then? Probably to early. Would we have then survived? I doubt it so who would we have got as manager?
But they would probably still be here! We wouldn't therefore be looking again Agggghhhh!

Pardew-What went wrong? Jedinak? not enough cover in squad? Wanted that January window to put it all right!

Sam Allardyce- Did the job financially a £*cking good year hard work but yes he pulled it off again!!

Lets for Christ sake hope we can start next season on the front foot and still be moving in forward direction at Christmas!

We survived but may struggle again if we don't get that back line sorted.

Back in February I thought our fate was sealed but have to commend the team on their late rally under Allardyce. Full marks for that. Rest of the season was crap and entirely forgettable!

He's asking us, the supporters, funnily enough on a supporters forum. It's a simple question, why be pedantic and complicate it?

6.5 for me.

I'd give it a 7. No cup runs but excitement in league until the end
Zaha and Sakho saved us and in time it will mainly be remembered for the cracking wins against some top clubs and the fact that it ensured our longest run in top flight

6 - but only because of the major scalps and how well Zaha performed. Otherwise a 5 - months of sleepwalking towards relegation, no honeymoon period for Sam, some truly atrocious home performances - all with a squad that shouldn't be anywhere near the bottom 3. No real update on the ground development, abysmal luck with injuries, a former Palace hero being hung out to dry by fans after being sacked as manager, feeling more like a Newcastle fan than a Palace fan for at least half the season, plastics/poor atmosphere (for us). BUT, that said, we pulled off survival in true Palace fashion and got our identity back, so I'm happy that this season was a ''only'' a 6, in the best league in the world may I add.

With Chelsea winning the Prem = 10/10

Sunderland ended up bottom = 0.5/10 (They got half a point just for taking part)

Based on coming 14th, Palace 3.5/10

Sorry only 2 out of 10, AP F***** up so many of my weekends and weeks, total depression managed to recover usually by Thursday only to fall back into the abyss on Saturday . After all these years surely we deserve just one season to finish in the top 6. Fortunately my Doctor has put me on a pill that is a mix of Prozac and Viagra so if I don't get a F*** I don't give a F***.
But PLEASE just one great season!!! Only thanks to SA and wins against Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal have I managed to survive.
