It's nice to see UEFA say they would support a English or British bid for the 2030 World Cup. However, that's just a bunch of words. I'm quite sceptical of the "joint" US/Mexico/Canada bid and I'd be even more wary of a bid from England or the UK being fairly treated by FIFA. I think the fix is in for the North American bid for 2026 but I also believe the costs will be astronomical. I also think talk of FIFA "reform" is so much bs (notice I use small letters). I would turn the process around and force FIFA to prove they were worthy of having their precious World Cup in my country before granting them permission to seek a bid. I know, it would never happen but ever since the video showing Jack Warner claiming a story that ran in The Onion, a satirical weekly, was actually true (see link below, caution strong language is used) I would have as little to do with FIFA or UEFA (not to mention CONCACAF) doing business in my neighborhood.
