Anyone else just a little nostalgic? But it was "stoppable" wasn't it? I'd feel a lot warmer about it if it hadn't been preceded by half a season of sh1t in the league and ended with us empty handed having been a goal up against 10 men. The image seared on my memory is of that cringy dad-dancing.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Anyone else just a little nostalgic? Yes I am. I saw the footage on the BBC news the other night of the stadium singing abide with me and both the huge flags for both clubs which were on the pitch followed by ariel shots over Wembley with both teams lined up. I was very emotional looking at it. The photo of myself and my family in our match shirts before we travelled to Wembley is framed and sits pride of place in my living room. I really hope one day I will get to go back and do it all over again.
When I was a young girl my Mother said to me.. You listen here kid you're CPFC |

A great occasion with Palace out-singing and out-flagging United tenfold. Ultimately disappointing though. Although I can understand the elation at scoring at Wembley in a final, I always felt that the celebrations when Punch scored went on just a bit too long. It needed someone (capt Jedinak or the dancing queen Pardew) to round the players up and remind them that the job wasn't done yet and to knuckle down for the last 10 minutes. As it was we were still in celebration mode when United equalised.

Wont make another one if it takes so long though

I was surprised at myself how emotional I got when Puncheon's goal went in; decades of disappointment and falling to the favoured big clubs hit me. The equalizer was expected, but for a few moments I felt: this time we'll show them!Come to think of it, that's how I felt when we were winning with minutes to go in our other F.A Cup Final. One day....
